The aim of this course is to give the student the ability to use alternative software except AutoCAD for architectural designs, and to create effective visuals and animations using real-time rendering software in order to prepare effective visual presentations of their designs.ġ) The student has knowledge about current software used in architectural design.Ģ) The student has information about rendering software used for architectural visualization.ģ) He/she designs floor plans in 2D and 3D using Autodesk REVIT software.Ĥ) He/she quickly converts 2D plans (prepared with AutoCAD) to 3D models by importing them into Autodesk REVIT.ĥ) He/she creates legends, creates schedules, prepares sheets with REVIT.Ħ) He/she creates topographic models with Autodesk REVIT.ħ) He/she can create rendered views and create "walkthrough" animations with Autodesk REVIT.Ĩ) He/she transfers the Revit model to "Enscape" (a real-time rendering software), creates rendered images and animations.ĩ) He/she transfers the Revit model to "Twinmotion" (a real-time rendering software), creates rendered images and animations.ġ0) He/she has knowledge about Lumion and D5 Render which are other real time visualization software.Īctual softwares used for architectural design era Real-time rendering softwares used for architectural visualization BIM modeling structure User interface of Autodesk REVIT Creating 2D and 3D floor plans with Autodesk REVIT Converting AutoCAD plans to 3D models by transferring them into Revit Creating legends, schedules, sheets, and prints in Revit Topographic modeling Rendering and “walkthrough” animations in Revit Transferring between Revit and Enscape, Enscape settings, rendering and animation with Enscape, exporting images and animations Transferring between Revit and Twinmotion, Twinmotion settings, rendering and animation with Twinmotion, exporting images and animations Informing about other rendering programs (Lumion, D5 Render).
